A Different Approach to Animal Care
Author: Farmer Kelley
One of the most important parts of Rose Veal is how the animals are raised.
All of our calves remain with their mothers until natural weaning age (around 10 months old)
They graze, move, and develop naturally within the herd.
There’s no rush.
No confinement-based model. No shortcuts.
That matters to me, to the animals and to the quality of the food.
When animals are raised with care, it shows.
In how they move, how they grow, and ultimately, how the meat tastes.
Rose Veal reflects that approach.
