Thank you for shopping at Howling Flats Farm. We strive to deliver your orders promptly and securely. Please review our shipping policy for detailed information on how we process and ship your orders.
1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed and shipped from Howling Flats Farm within 3 business days, unless otherwise specified. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
We offer the following shipping options:
- Farm Pickup: Pre-paid orders can be picked up directly at our farm - 19 Raymond Avenue Canaan CT. Pickup instructions will be provided at checkout, and you must adhere to the scheduled pickup time. We are not responsible for missed pickups.
- Standard Shipping: For your convenience we offer front porch FedEx shipping. We currently ship on Tuesdays to CT, MA, NY, NJ, NH, VT, Southern ME and Eastern PA. While we love that folks further away would like to shop our farm - we suggest supporting a livestock producer closer to your area. Delivery times vary based on your location but typically range from 1 to 2 business days.
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on external factors, such as weather or carrier delays.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery method and the destination of your order. For subscriptions and orders over a certain amount (e.g., $150), we may offer free shipping or discounted rates. Any additional taxes, duties, or fees applicable to the shipment will be the responsibility of the customer.
4. Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to shipping carrier delays, weather conditions, or supply chain issues. If there is a significant delay in processing or shipping your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.
5. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please ensure your shipping information is accurate before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for delays or undelivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information. If you realize that there is an error in your shipping information after submitting your order, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to make adjustments before shipment.
6. Shipping Restrictions
We currently offer front porch FedEx shipping with shipments leaving CT on Tuesdays to CT, MA, NY, NJ, NH, VT, Southern ME and Eastern PA. Please contact us for more information on specific shipping restrictions.
7. Packaging
To ensure the freshness and quality of our products, especially perishable items, we carefully package all shipments to maintain the integrity of the products. For perishable goods, we use appropriate packaging materials to keep items cold or secure during transit.
8. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or you believe an item is missing, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with your order number and photos of the damage or missing items. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
9. Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
