Spring Work Isn’t Gentle (But It Feels Good)
Author: Farmer Kelley
Spring work is real work.
There’s mud, long days, fences to fix, animals to move, and a pace that picks up quickly.
It’s physical. It’s demanding.
And it feels good.
There’s a difference between being exhausted and being fully used in the right way. I notice it every spring.
Yes, I’m more active. Yes, I’m tired at the end of the day.
But it’s a satisfying kind of tired. One that comes from doing something that matters.
Not all effort gives that back.
Spring reminds me to choose the kind that does.
