I’ve worked in sales since middle school, when I was slinging candy bars to pay for band trips.

And in more than 40 years, I’ve never really believed in the hard sell.

Most people know what they like, what it’s worth to them, and how convenient they want it to be.

So to me, it really comes down to one question:

What is it worth to you?

What is it worth to know where your meat comes from?

Who raised the animals and how they were cared for?

That your food dollars support a local farm?

That high-quality protein can be shipped right to your door?

Howling Flats is a tiny farm in the northwest corner of Connecticut. Realistically, we can only raise enough animals to feed about 75 to 90 families.

We’re not trying to feed everyone.

We’re trying to take really good care of the families who choose to trust us with a place at their table.
